Their albums Late Romantic Piano Trios from Flanders and Bruges and the Romantic Imagination received widespread critical acclaim and were featured on Klara, BRF 1 and France Musique. With projects such as Ryelandt Trio plays Frank Zappa at BOZAR, Liefs, Beethoven with tenor Thomas Blondelle, and Tales of a Wandering Soul with jazz saxophonist Robin Verheyen, the trio deliberately explores new directions within chamber music.
The trio won first prize at the Concours Léopold Bellan in Paris and the Audience Award at Supernova at deSingel, and has collaborated with musicians including the Storioni Trio, Benjamin Glorieux, Guy Danel and Claire Chevallier.
Since 2024, the Ryelandt Trio from Bruges has been putting its home city in the spotlight with ACHTDUUST, a concert series dedicated to presenting musical heritage and contemporary chamber music. The ensemble presents an exclusive concert series featuring four concerts each year at special venues in Bruges.
The 2026–2027 season promises to be a particularly special one: the Ryelandt Trio will receive the Fuga Trophy 2026 from the Union of Belgian Composers and will take its music across Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland, with concerts at venues and festivals including the MaiFestSpiele, the Finsterwalde Chamber Music Festival, Lunalia Festival and the legendary Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio in Warsaw.
