The Ryelandt Trio distinguishes itself with captivating programs that appeal to a wide audience, often placing forgotten gems from their own heritage at the center. They are committed ambassadors of Flemish musical heritage, with a particular focus on the works of composers such as Joseph Ryelandt, Joseph Callaerts, and Karel Mestdagh. Their two albums Late Romantic Piano Trios from Flanders and Bruges and the Romantic Imagination received critical acclaim in, among others, De Standaard, and are frequently broadcast on Klara, BRF 1, and France Musique.

The trio has also created remarkable projects such as Ryelandt Trio plays Frank Zappa at BOZAR and Liefs, Beethoven, a music-theatre production with Thomas Blondelle. They also regularly premiere works by contemporary composers. Collaborations include Robert Groslot, Jasper Charlet, and Mathias Coppens, whose work was recorded at Concertgebouw Brugge and released on the album Collection of Curiosities.

The trio has gained national and international recognition at competitions, winning first prize at the Concours Léopold Bellan in Paris and the Audience Award at Supernova in deSingel. They also work regularly with leading coaches such as the Storioni Trio, Benjamin Glorieux, Guy Danel, and Claire Chevallier.

Since 2024, the Bruges-based Ryelandt Trio has put its home city in the spotlight with ACHTDUUST, a new concert series dedicated to musical heritage and contemporary chamber music. The ensemble presents four annual concerts at unique venues in Bruges and its surroundings.
